Hi all

I have been on test centre getting used to reforging - is it possible to get the forged metal tool on TC1?

also, when enhancing, say with barbed leather, do you just get a few points of resist bonuses? If so, why are the forged metal tools so expensive, seems hardly worth 15mil, or am i missing something?

To get forged metal tools on TC, I usually just put one on each of my characters on a few accounts and do a character copy on all of them so I have multiple tools. Not sure if there is any other way to get them.

With barbed leather yes you just get a few resists, 12 to be exact. 12 doesn't sound like much, but multiply that times 6 and its kind of a big deal. Also, with different types of wood you can get up to 18 additional resists plus an additional property depending on whether it is a weapon or armor and what type of wood.

The chance of breaking an item when enhancing is very high. Forged metal tool guarantees success. In the long run, it saves you on imbuing materials and POF to use forged metal.

Also, depending on which resist you are looking for, other materials may be better.
