Coud we please get the town criers updated on Siege?

Apparently on other shards they tell of raiders in the towns and rioters in the streets. On Siege, when you ask a town herald for "news" you get "I have no news at this time" (!)

I just spent a lot of turn in points to get 5 Sherry the Mouse statues - so I could keep abreast of the developments from my homes. But apparently no one bothered to switch our heralds over to the new event. We have the rioters. I have neither seen nor heard of anyone seeing any raiders. And there is no news to be had from Sherry or the town heralds.

Has been working on Atlantic since the first part of Feb. There have only been a couple of times the criers and Sherry have been incorrect since the current arc started. I thought it was the same for all shards *shrugs*

Nah, I just remember it being broken so I never placed any of mine. I didn't realize they fixed it. uoguide says it was fixed a few pubs later. I musta missed that.

On the topic of Spring cleaning rewards, did they ever fix the Mouse Hole?

Mine still kept saying no news stuff even when criers had news all the way up until the first part of this month, so dunno how good the fix was lol. Good question on the mouse hole tho, dunno that answer...

I've sent a couple of bug reports on the town crier bug - am hoping that maybe those bug reports actually go somewhere and someone actually sees them.

I *do* appreciate their explaining a little more about how the loyalty system works!

My Sherry the mouse is babbling news all the time, *but* only on Chesapeake.

So, I, being all happy that apparently all our Sherry the mouses had been fixed, I placed my lil Sherry the Mouse once again into my Siege home,
and all she does is sit there in ........... utter silence !!!

Now [if] Sherry is only babbling [[ EM driven events]] related to the new rioters etc. for the shards whom are fortunate to even HAVE EMs,
then having NO EM at all ever on Siege,
I guess Siege Perilous' Sherrys, may remain utterly silent for all eternity, on Siege !

But I do not know if Sherry's new talkativeness is EM only related, or UO all shards having new content related/driven
to coincide with events going on now, regarding the pyromaniacs and rioters.

I don't think it's EM driven. The town criers certainly knew about the Turkeys! I think that we are a separate "switch" and they just forgot to throw it.

*bump* We still have no working heralds on Siege. If these government workers aren't going to do their job, they should be laid off. It would cut the debt. That would give the Kingdom more money to help appease these rioters and the creditors. At least that's what they're telling them in Greece.

Seriously. Could someone please turn on the town criers/Sherry the Mouse statues on Siege?
