costume from renowned?

so i was down killing the acid spawn for the essence and on the 2nd round thru i killed the renowned acid ellie and on the corpse was a terathan warrior costume. is this a bug? has any 1 else gotten these as loot?

Haven't heard of anyone getting costumes from renowned. Sounds like someone died, had it on them and it looted perhaps? I'd check with your shard to see if anyone lost one.

no it wasnt looted...i came down did the spawn solo one whole time and killed the renowned...then it started over and i killed the renowned a 2nd time...it was loot on the corpse of the 2nd one

yea i would think it was looted off a player, but if it was your 2nd time through the spawn then it may not have had a chance to loot someone else. odd indeed

Well I'm so glad I took the time to collect the whole set when they are just gonna be dropped as loot now . This better be a mistake and will be fixed or else I'm sure I won't be the only person not very happy.

I got a terathan mask off the acid elemental renowned as well, and thought it'd looted somebody until a few others piped up on these boards about finding the same.

My mask did not say "replica".

The masks are blessed so I doubt it was looted off of a player.

This seems like a bug to me. It seems very odd that these would start showing up as loot. It's also odd that that the only ones showing up as loot is the terathan warrior.

This would be a neat lead in to a new event.

We have to fight ophidians while dressed as terathans.

On an interesting note, I got a Talon Bite off the corpse of one of the Undead Gargoyles that unthawed at Medusa, and as I watched it become a living being, it didn't have a chance to loot, either.
