Constant login crashes not acceptable

Lets face the name of this thread says it all.

How many people go to log in during a day and then crash because of it?
I would estimate over 33% of all logins now end up in crashing.

After speaking with programmers it has been determined this was done intentionally as
a lazy man means to deal with a problem instead of actually dealing with the problem.
After 15 years this is NOT acceptable.

Fix the problem not later not 2 years from now, and fire whoever thought this was a good idea.

Can't say I can ever recall this happening.

Which client? Have you tried a fresh installation?

Are you even sure it's the program and not a problem with your system?

I crash sometimes too upon logging in. It is also very annoying in order to switch accounts that I have to attempt to do so twice because the first time tells me it can't communicate with origin.
