Yes or No...
Ya, it was pretty easy to say, "Hell no!" until EA got Bioware. I haven't tried Dragon Age yet, but that's one I'm probably going to buy at some point. Having said that, EA really does suck, and I'll be surprised if Bioware maintains the same level of quality production now that they have been purchased by EA.EA has BioWare's games, so hell yes, I need my Mass Effect.
They really have not handled UO too awfuly bad. I do not like the new client however. Guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks.Yes or No...
Selling out their old supporters by making a completely different game with AOS is handling the game incredibly bad. They really have not handled UO too awfuly bad. I do not like the new client however. Guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Granted, it is text based, but I play http://www.solecismic.com/index.php Front Office Football to feed my football addiction. Multiplayer online leagues are awesome.Hopefully a third party will emerge for sports.
Another issue of the UO team. They get free passes for releasing a buggy, inferior product. If UO is an example of what they offer, I would respond with a Hell, Yes!
UO provides me with all the gaming pleasure I need so I won't be buying any other games, but i will be purchasing future updates and "boosters". I love the hIgh Seas - warts and all![]()
The best sports simulation game I've ever played was a table top board game, Pursue the Pennant. It was a ton of fun and utterly rocked if you have any love for baseball whatsoever. For multiplayer games the most fun I had was again with a baseball simulation league, Scoresheet. Last I checked they are still in business, but baseball isn't as much fun to me as it used to be. The rabbit ball and steroids kinda ruined it for me.Granted, it is text based, but I play http://www.solecismic.com/index.php Front Office Football to feed my football addiction. You should try Runes of Magic. It's absolutely gorgeous looking, not as cartoony as WoW. It's F2P but very professionally run. You don't have to invest money into the game if you don't want to, as most 'good stuff' can be purchased from players at in game auctions. There is a ton of stuff to do and they provide regular, hefty content updates. If I didn't want Support, I'd could play a most any other game. I AM looking tho, after 10yrs now, at other games, like LOTR & Runescape.
It's this kind of attitude that has made UO the ghost town that it currently is. 'Move on' should never be the option a company looks at for its playerbase. It should always be 'what can we do in order to make what we do better?'.Wow such negativity towards ea keep in mind people UO was an aquisition they did not make it they picked it up down the line its 13 years old for crying out loud. And yet you all feel because you play an anciant game that your entitled to thier best efforts f that noise. Ea is keeping it going be happy they give it any support at all! Yes i have and will continue to buy ea games EA ROCKS!!! you negative cry babies need to suck it up and either move on or stfu.![]()

How strange that EA has more complaints but has a A rating. I found this below and may explain why.According to the Better Business Bureau, in the 36 months leading up to August 15, 2010, 133 complaints have been filed against NCsoft. NCsoft currently has a BBB rating of "B-."[14] By comparison Electronic Arts had 1005 complaints and has a rating of "A"[15] and Sony Online Entertainment had 145 complaints and has a rating of "A"[16] for the same time period.
and also this which I find quite interesting....The BBB does not recommend specific businesses to consumers, but simply supplies information.[3] Regarding how a group funded by businesses can be fair to consumers, the bureau's website states that its value to businesses depends on its neutrality.[11]
BBBs have been accused of unduly protecting companies.[12] The BBB responds by, at a minimum, notating complaints on the "Reliability Report" section of its web sites.[13] If a branch does not act reasonably on behalf of a consumer, a complaint may be filed with the Federal Trade Commission.
Because of its requirement that businesses pay dues and tribute, this has engendered complaints that the BBB compiles scores based upon their ability to collect money from businesses, and not upon business performance.
So EA to me has a high rating because they pay for it. Companies that dont get low ratings go figure lol.In 2010, 20/20, an ABC network news magazine, reported irregularities in BBB ratings. They reported that a man created two dummy companies which received A+ ratings as soon as he had paid the membership fee.
They also reported that business owners were told that the only way to improve their rating was by paying the fee. In one case a C was turned to an A immediately after a payment and in another case a C- became an A+.
Chef Wolfgang Puck said that some of his businesses receive Fs because he refuses to pay a fee. Ritz Carlton, which does not belong either, also receives Fs.[8]
