On a related note: I can kill a monster, loot a magical piece of armor/weapon/jewelry off their corpse, and throw it in a trash can for points. The number of points I get is based off the overall weight of the properties on the item. Has anyone figured out what the equation is for this?

i couldn't find one, spent less time and just placed a house

On Origin I found the public trash chest in Luna worked fine.
