You should also be able to use them on a lot more types of items now (e.g., peerless ingredients, relic fragments, enchanted essence, magical residue).
They don't seem to work yet on the "high-end" imbuing ingredients; however most of the high-end ingredients are fairly lightweight (1 stone for every 10, rounded up to the next stone so 1-10 weighs 1 stone, 11-20 weighs 2 stones, etc.). I'm guessing that since these ingredients weren't dropped in until near the end of beta, they may not have been in existence when someone worked on adding things to the list of items that could be put into deed form and they'll make it onto that list at some point in the future.
