Hellos,

Just made comeback and wondering my tamer. I got pretty good greater dragon ...but is it still good? Or what kind pet I should train for slay champion spawn etc high end stuff?

So just asking:
1) Should I change my greater dragon to other pet?
2) Can and/or should should I train my old GD.
3) If I should take new pet .. what kind of pet I should take and how I should train it?
4) Any pro tip for high end training?
5) If I want fast solo dragon turtle with my tamer how I should do it? (What kind of pet(s), what kind of skills on it? (Just wondering dragon turtle.. not spawn)

Thanks for advice!

I will give my two cents but i am FAR from an expert. You will find others who will give better advice I am sure.
1. I like the customization aspect better than using a greater dragon, so i say yes.
2. I wouldn't but i am sure there are some who do.
3. Depends on what you want to use them for. Some popular options are Cu Sidhe, Giant/Fire Beetles, Tsuki Wolves but there are other great pets as well.I really like the Dread Spider for necromage and poison abilities.
4. I train in Shame dungeon (Crazed mage, Ev's) for most pets. Skills points rise relatively quickly.
5. I never used a dragon turtle so I have no idea.

High skilled GD (130 wrestle + few others) would still serve well.

There are a few mountable pets you can train to be 5 slot with the same base damage as a GD, can be stat'd well with better overall resists than a GD and have 120 skills. 2 good examples fire beetle 5 slot with 100 fire damage attacks + rune corruption and Nightmare which comes under the magical creature tree, you can teach it evey magic ability (bushido/ninjitsu however is strict to tokuno islands) even discord.

For pet training shame lvl 5 is unbeatable, plenty of threads on high end training it won't take you long.

So I cannot train old pets.. or is it just GD that cannot be trained?

@Ford Taunus you can train old pets but there are a few issues I believe, like old hiryuu's/lesser's can't be trained in bushido/ninjitsu (don't quote me on that tho).

An old GD will already be 5 slots so it's untrainable, slots determine how many rounds of training you are allowed. You can find a 4 slot GD but I don't think it's worth it (unless ofc it's 130 wrestle 4 slot, couldn't care less for it's HP value...).

Also one question more:
So if I can train pets nowadays. It is all same how good/or bad are "starting" resistances, stats, skills etc because I can train them good anyways?
If I understood right.. bad pets can be trained more than good ones?
