Come to Draconi's UO Dev funeral pyre tomorrow

Hail Britannians,

It feels like a good time for a little party, what say ye'?

Tomorrow afternoon I plan to bring fireworks and ale to Britain bank in celebration of Draconi.

I'm initially shooting for 5pm EST (a little over 19 hours from the time of this post). But that's just a suggestion for a little uo-niversal starting time.


Here is my thought:

Go to all of your home shard forums and try to rally the troops for a good ol' fashioned Britain bank celebration.


& make sure to bring fire.

I know people that read Draconi's farewell will understand the post title, but saying Funeral pyre gives the wrong idea and makes it sound like he died...

Then again, I don't know how best to call it, celebrating his leaving the dev team doesn't sound right either heh

- I'll be on Atlantic at 5 (in about 2.5 hours).
It sounds like that shard might have the most showing, so that's where I'll plan on going for now.

I do hope someone will give me a spare fireworks wand

(btw - I used the term funeral pyre because the Doors song 'Light my Fire' popped in my head. Then oddly enough about 3 hours later I heard the same dang phrase in a movie. Sorry if I offended many - I wasn't trying to be morbid. Aye, I think it would be great if 'Draconi the UO Dev' returned too; although I have my personal doubts)


Sorry, I've been & am way busy... but I hope to be back about 30 minutes before 5pm EST.

Just made sure to create a newbie on Atlantic.
Took about 3 minutes to hoof 'em to the New Haven to Brit moongate and park it.
I started worrying that I wouldn't be able to get there in time... but it's no problem.

I try to get in front of the computer again within an hour.


Fellow Britannians let's have a little fun and light the world on fire for a few!

- Well, I always forget to take pictures but I did manage to snag 3.
First is towards beginning, second was a little side trip I took pouring some ale for a homey and third is towards the end. I just wish I'd been able to save a picture from the peak of the party as a good group showed up for the festivities. Not bad for such a short notice; it is obvious there are a lot of Draconi fans out there, heh.

As for my thoughts of the celebration: I had a fun time. I really enjoyed all of the spontaneous ways everyone was creating fire. It was the first time I've ever used a character named 'AesSedai' in UO. Everyone was quite friendly and I was glad to meet all of ya'll.

There was lots of FIRE!

Thanks for the hospitality Atlantic shard. Special thanks to Raina for giving me a fireworks wand as my new player one was running out.
