Hmmm...so why the face palm? Shall I restart this auction far lower? I figured something that would survive for 255+254+253+252+251... points of durability ought to fetch a high price, but I'm always willing to accept outside input. I'm not a pvper after all, just a merchant!

Every splintering going off destroys 10 durability ponts. Thats why it s not worth it imbuing splintering weps in the long run. And theres nothing worse than loosing your weapon in the middle of a fight..
