Why do they say they will swap them out every month? How long are they going to leave the clean up going? The whole reason I bothered doing the clean up was for the rarity of the items? If they are going to keep it active for a long time, then what the heck was the point? Why would I just swap out old junk for new junk?

Am I the only one entirely ****ing sick of hearing some toolbox cry and moan about the "rarity" of every single solitary piece of crap item they add to this game?
"MAKE WHAT I HAVE MORE RARE! NOT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE HAVE! MINE!"

There is absolutely no way that I'll be able to get any of the dyes at 250k points. When I started playing UO again 3 years ago (off and on) I wasn't able to collect many of the things that are worth a lot of points now. I used up what points I did have on a few of the new suits and I have no earthly idea how to get more things that are worth enough points to have at least 1 new dye. It is just way too costly.
If it costs more, it's going to be more rare and highly desirable. If you think it costs too much and isn't worth it, don't use your points on it. Pick something else. No one said you have to be able to dye a whole suit. Just pick one item.
at this point... whining about better loot in felluca is silly. Risk/Reward. This topic has been beaten to death... for years...
This game doesn't revolve around making sure every player can dye their gear/items every color of the rainbow easily in Trammel.
I only started to collect the holiday and anniversary gifts on shards other than Baja and GL in 2007. I've been slowly turning in a lot of those items on various shards, keeping maybe a total of 15 actual items plus the 13th and 14th anniversary tickets for each character. I'm having no trouble so far having enough points on each shard (around 800-900k) to claim 4 sorcerers suits, 2 scout suits, 6 sets of nocturne earrings, a beehive, one set of the luck jewelry, a Sherry statue, and one elven tapestry or set of virtue tiles, while still holding onto a reasonable amount of the holiday and anniversary stuff and all the 13th and 14th anniversary tickets.
Yea, I'm guessin we all know we don't have to pay for it if we don't want to... And that we could pick something else...

How many emails should I send to Audi to convince them to lower the price?

Umm.. of course someone would want the items that they bought through a cleanup system to have a rarity. As I originally said, "Why would I just swap out old junk for new junk?"
The clean up is supposed to provide incentive for us to bother dumping all the data "pixels" from the server. If the items I choose are going to be as worthless as the items I turn in, then I will just keep my old junk and continue to clog up the servers.
So, think before you speak and make a fool out of yourself again, because you might think I'm a toolbox for caring about the rarity of items... but I just think you're a loser in general.

Unless these dyes can dye ethy mounts or swampys they are worthless than regular dyes. so, why so high a cost? definate gold sink,hi priced and no real advatage to having them. Give us something we can use and be proud to own.
I would have prefered them adding more to the trash list for turn in.... many items are fine but odd tallys and those from last turn it are missing and there is alot of other items that are taking up space that could be added to the list that might make up for players who are fairly new to UO to get and gather up for stuff too. The pigments need to be at least 5 charges.. or not worth the points and then not that much for one bottle... i can see 250k pts for a set of the 4 colors with 5 charges each. Anything less its not worth my time or pts.
deffo never worth 250k points in anyones book....crazy..i was thinking it maybe a typo and really its meant to be 25k points....
