ClassicUO Web Client Questions

I play on a M2 Mac, I had been using VMWare Fusion and running the EC through it.

Lately that has been very unstable and crashing, many times at very inopportune times and places.

I have not used the Classic Client in many many years because of some of the sacrifices I would have to make using it.

With ClassicUO Web, most of those sacrifices are addressed and I have been playing it the last several days and haver begun to get use to it, and it's very stable, but for a few bugs it has, and I have virtually no lag at big events.

So just checking on strategy folks use with it.

One of the biggest things I prefer about EC, is the mobiles Gump.

I assume there is no way to have a Gump display showing all mobile health bars that are near in this client, it's all drag?

Also, no way to have it auto show the headers of party members/pets? Gets tricky with the pet sometimes when I have it attach something at an event, then realize I didn't drag the health bar, and now there is no way I am finding my pet in that swarm of players and pets to drag his bar back out.

Also, anyway to display how many followers I have, without opening up my full status display? It gets tricky seeing when my summons have expired at big events, and am curious the strategy people take around this.

Obviously there are adaptations I am going to need to make using this client, but just checking to see how folks who are more used to classic are working around some of these points.

You can click and drag a health bar off your character then double click on the health bar and it will show you followers etc.

I realized after posting the above is not helpful but this might be, if you click control shift it will bring up all items names ect and you can drag of the displayed name to get a health bar from your pet but it will likely be buried under a lot of other names which you have to drag away to unbury the name of your pet

Thanks, I’m getting more use to it.

i have a 40” screen, so I’ve been leaving my full status gump open in the top left to track follower count.

Also, learned by accident a neat trick, I can right click mouse drag over a a group of mobiles and all health bars will come up.

Pretty busy, way more than I need at an event, but I can start closing them out till I find the ones I was looking for.

Classic UO web can be glitchy, sometimes weird things happen and I can’t do things like recall anymore or move items in inventory, and need to restart it then, but for the most part, it’s pretty stable and lag free, and the options for viewing items in a grid and storing icons in a bar bring usability much closer to EC.
