Those are secondary to the main objective of the program. It is not a requirement to RP to be a governor or run for office; matter of fact most of the folks that run are NOT role players. This system was not put in place to bring us "closer to the EM's" are you kidding? EM's were already running events with their RPC's (Blackthorn, Queen Dawn, Jeffery, Sherry the Mouse, etc. etc.) long before this system came to be. You aren't going to put something in place and go... "Hey guys, I am going to come up with something new that is going to give you the EXACT SAME THING you are already getting, kk?".

They specifically said it "allows cities to requisition from the Crown". That can be ANYTHING, it doesn't have to be deco but it can be anything and Mesanna mentions improvements to the city. We're supposed to be meet with the Viceroy 1x a month or 2x a month and submit your ideas to him/her. Its not just "role play".

Below is an updated table showing which cities now have governor offices, other than on Siege and Mugen. (I will try to get their information later this week.)



As I was checking the governor office locations, I made the screen shots below of any large collections of locked down objects that were in the vicinity of future governor offices. I found these on Legends in Moonglow and on Napa in Britain and Yew. There were also some smaller objects on some other shards that I did not capture in screen shots (e.g., fountains in Skara Brae on a few shards, a hopscotch outline on Lake Superior in Skara Brae, a tree and cobweb in Moonglow on Origin). Regular players on these shards might want to talk to their EM about what will become of these locked down objects if a governor's office is placed in those locations.

NAPA VALLEY - Britain and Yew

I noticed some "architect" and "citizen" NPCs on Pacific in several towns (Moonglow, Vesper, Yew) who seemed very concerned about conditions in Yew. There were also locked down items in both Yew and Jhelom at the bank and at the governors' offices. The gist of the items and the spammed messages seemed to be that both cities are in dire need of stables and trash cans and some architects haven't been paid.

Napa lore: both of those blocking debris are there courtesy of Napa's first EM, Theowulf. Both were part of blocking walls built as a result of player-collected & donated resources, in advance of a draconic invasion led by the forces of Tal'Keesh.

Governors have NO say in where these buildings are placed or what they look like. That's 100% Mesanna's decision.

Or what Horrifying and Painful Death Traps she will build into the foundation of the office which will spawn when you're no longer "An Effective Team"

The walls around Yew were also in place to protect citizens form the Plague Beast Lords who were spawning just a wee bit too close to the city and somehow venturing into city limits, thus causing citizens much distress when attempting to visit the commerce center.

Of note, the walls in both Yew and Brit are gone. I suppose the demolition teams on Napa are paid well.
