At the time we were first talking about using Stewards we were not sure if we could complete a tree. So it was initially to get as many people possible to submit a BoD to increase our chances of getting a reward. Now that we know what it takes to complete one I'm not sure if they are needed. It's nice to give a lil on Christmas though.

It is nice to give, and I thought we were still in the brainstorming stage but everyone went and put up a steward already. I'm going to make a post with steward locations once we know the schedule we want to follow. The schedule is being determined by the poll that is up. Remember how I said everyone has the power to do events? This is how it works, this is the process. It's not quick and painless, communication is key.

Is the Steward thing really necessary, maybe I am misunderstanding it?

It takes .1 skill to collect (just use the skill ONE time and you collect 3 BODs), do alchemy and you can fill them right from the NPC you collect the BOD from lol.

Does Siege really have any, or even one, completely new player who can't turn in a BOD? And even if they were that new, they wouldn't understand the Stewards or know where any of our houses are anyways...
The Steward method is quick and painless. No skill juggling required.

Just went for my tree gifts, both green paper lanterns. We both gave the elf two 20 piece exceptional weapon bods.

I put a few more BODs on the steward at my castle.

I am not against crafters selling BODs. It does take resources. And time. But the ones on my steward are beginner ones or ones I could fill by buying from NPC vendors. I am putting practically nothing into it. Most likely nothing that would be helpful for LBODs, just a junk BOD to have your one turn in.

Unfortunately, I don't have the resources to work on LBODs as I am just now starting to do BODs. So this is the way I can contribute to the project. If anyone wants to sell LBODs, someone like me could buy one, turn it in and up my chances to get something. I am completely ok with that.

Starting tomorrow, I will have a second steward to give out holiday booze. I am going to use the steward rather than using a basket, so collectors have a chance to get one instead of that one guy taking it all.
