The reason I am posting this thread on this forums is because its the most read. I am trying to update the safe holiday trading thread on that forum and many many people are not playing anymore. My icq is now full of people that have not authorized me probably because they no long play UO:
So if you are still playing UO, if you will be trading xmas and you are on the safe holiday trading list on the holiday trade forums could you please send me a pm here so I can update you. You have to be on the list already this is not so you can add yourself to it as people have to be submitted by others, not themselves.
This way maybe i can get a more updated list before trading starts.

Every holiday we get some presents from the UO team... be it Holiday trees for xmas or colored eggs for easter...

These gifts are given to every char on every shard. Some players have chars on many shards, so that they can collect these gifts and then trade them with someone who is not playing on the same shard :)

Hope that makes sence!

(If you intend to participate in this, make sure you have enough room in your house... you will be getting tons of items to store :) )

You don't "join" the list. You must be nominated by other players to be qualified for it. I don't recall offhand how many nominations, but it's not too many.

Thanks for the posts, everything updated from pms and here. Conner I fixed that. Just a couple notes, The Confirmed means that you are still trading or playing UO as of right now.
Keep it coming it would be nice to have as many people updated as still playing by the time xmas gifts come

The reason you must be nominated by other players is because as with all gift giveaways in game there are always a few bad apples that say they will trade and you will give them all you gifts on a particular shard and then go to log onto your own shard and expect to see that other person there ready to give you all their gifts on your shard but instead of them showing up they just keep the gifts you gave them and they never show up. This way if you are nominated that means the people that nominated you had good and successful dealings with you as far as trades go and you can more than likely be trusted.

This I can understand... But I have XShard Traded gifts for YEARS never even knew there was such a section on Stratics... never really used it and obviously never been nominated... likely because those I trade with haven't got a clue about this either.

A bit of a how do you nominate someone post would go a long long way...

I'll still be XShard Trading though. I live on Great Lakes and have characters on all the other shards... some more than others.. but at least 5 characters per shard save siege and mugen... sorry about that.

If I get several requests early though I can make more characters on a shard if need be.
