Chicken Poo Again

Were they NOT supposed to have fixed the thing where the battle chickens flew out of your house and ran off? Well it just now happened to me and when I finally chased the thing down, I was getting ready to tame it and it went POOF. Just disappeared. Can we fix this issue or not?

Go to Brit stables and hatch egg in a closed stall.

Actually, the fix was only for chicken lizards being claimed from their coop, not when they are hatched.

I never had a problem with the ones claimed from the coop so I'm not sure what they would have fixed there. The only problem I ever had was hatching them. It tossed them out of the house and they took off like a bat outta hell.

That makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever, but I will take it to a public place from now on.

They are also ejected from public houses. Is that a bug?

That might be a bug yes. I stopped reading the publish notes when it said private houses blah blah blah as it meant I had to clear the spawn round my house and then go elsewhere, hatch the chicken, tame it and then gate it back safely before it could go in the coop.

If you want to hatch a battle chicken in safety without it zooming off, choose an npc building. I use the Bountiful Harvest Inn in Occlo. I haven't lost a chick yet doing this.

im guessing that you guys dont have a castle.
cause this has allways been the way with castles.

if critters spawn in the middle area they get ejected as soon as they hit the stairs.

brigand or animal.
public or private.

its allways been like that.

and i asume its allways been like that in normal houses, but its just that none have ever spawned inside normal houses till now.

that being the chickens being forced to spawn in the house.

I hatched mine in a keep (private)....oh well, lesson learned again. I will do what others do and go to a semi public place to do it. Thanks for the info.

eh with keep shouldent be a prob if you have runes to the small grassy area around the keep, hatch em in there as its not officaly part of the house
