Ok, got everything I needed.

But what do the damn things eat? Grains and Hay, I can only think of wheat that falls in that category, and they won't eat it.

Buy sheafs of hay from the farmers in Brit. The lizards won't eat the wheat in the fields.

Ok, have 15 of the bastards bonding.

Tried to get some eggs from killing them, but that was way too much work running around. Anybody knows the odds of looting one?

So once these bond and start laying eggs, and I get some battle chickens....

Do the battle chickens lay eggs too? Or will I need to keep some regular chicken lizards around to keep getting eggs?

i killed wild lizards for days gettin eggs . took me from glorious to almost negative carma ... collected over 40 eggs . got 3 battle chickens for my troubles .

the odds of gettin an egg drop are dismal at best . like all day id get a couple . then using luck suit i got to maybe 2 or 3 an hour ... better but still . f that . im trying to bond some regular ones now. seems a lot less trouble. ill have to see how long it takes for em to produce ... ill let ya know.

(im actually amazed to hear kelmo got a bc on his first egg ... lucky for sure)

My little pink Queen here already laid 2 eggs.
It a hungry chicken, it seem to only lay eggs when I feed it.
First egg should be mature today, second one is still small, should grow to second size today.
My little Queen was a gift and just the right color for me. She already killed her first bear.

I had a good morning. All three of my initial brood laid eggs. I have 5 eggs cooking right now. My first egg turned out to be a common green, but he has some decent stats. I posted those stats in the taming forum thread doing research on battle chickens.

As a friendly reminder.................. SKARA GARDENS has a Vendor named
Pet Shop Boyz. Pet Shop Boyz sells chicken coops, incubators, aquarium fish foods, fresh fruits and veggies for pets, raw meats for pets whom can kill cows but just too lazy to do so, :) and HAY !! My chicken coops are priced by what I seen others charging for their coops etc. 1k.

QZ is allergic to hay yet she stealths to buy the hay for people's pet chickenz and marks up the gp price 2 gp or more, depending on how badly she sneezed totin hay for red peeps that can not get crabby npcs farmers to sell em hay.

So check out Pet Shop Boyz , he sells almost everything needed for pets including GM tinker repairs for those owning tinkered petz.

If ye need the collars though...think Sara Dale had a ton of em for sale, in their Zento mall.

Don't tinkered pets heal on their own?

Not to diminish the usefulness of tinker repair deeds, but unless there are intense tinker pet battles going on right inside the shop, I think you're aiming at the wrong demographic =]

I have no clue really, when we had Golem fights in Iantown our pet golems had to be repaired by tinkerers. I am behind on the SA curve, compared to every one else cuz I just got Miranda upgraded, yet not the rest of my accts. yet, but I seen we had new pets in the tinker menu, so if anyone needs em, they are there.

No matter I have GM tinker repairs also on my repair deed vendor cuz well my Miranda is GM or better in lotsa skills so, repairs are all over the place at my place. Some times someone buys em all up, be they tailoring smithin tinkering or carpentry repairs. :)

Of all the repair deeds, GM TINKER repair deeds are probably the most useless EA ever invented...cuz how oft do we need to repair a ...candelabra ? :)

Hey! Don't mention butcher knives in a chicken thread! You might put them off laying.

What about the S&M chickens? They're more likely to give you a battle chicken anyway.

Fry it up with some zucchini, tomatoes, and maybe a little green pepper. Throw in some parmesan cheese and that's good eatin'!!

Ask a tamer to tame it for you, in your small house, it should be easy to tame it if you remember to close doors and windows so it can't escape. 2 good taming jewelry may do too.

Chicken lizards and battle chicken lizards can be tamed by humans with 0 taming. Not sure about elves and gargoyals...

33 eggs.. it's getting ridiculous buying wheat and filling pitchers with water.

..Do water troughs ever have to be refilled?

I wish.. of course this inconvenience is temporary. Once I have 15 battle chickens in all colors I'll be fine. Then the eggs will only be for sale.

They are now Spawning outside private homes. DAMNIT!!! my lil battle chikie just got Pk'ed by a plague beast!!!
Sorry. But I hatch them and they pop out of my castle faster than Brigands and then run off before I can tame them. :)

Can you X-field yourself outside the house before hatching them, then tame them while they're trapped on your tile?

If you go to anywhere in Tokuno and fill a water pitcher, it's possible to add what seems like endless water to them. This also works with a Magic Wave

just keep filling. If you fill it 100 times then you have 500 uses out of the pitcher
