what do chicken lizards eat? it says hay and grains, where to get them? i tried dropping a wheat sheaf on them so guess thats not it, thanks for any replies

i happened to be in the queen's city and saw the garg farmers, and i was just getting back from taming some.
so i purchased some hay from them and it worked fine.
