On Tuesday, 12th August at 9pm Eastern the new Gilfane Arena will be officially opened to the public by hosting a chicken fight event.

Fights will be to the death and no healing or interference will be permitted during the duel. There will be a 25k entry fee (10k for NEW members), all of which will go towards prizes. The winner of the individual tournament will also receive a cursed Doom artifact of their choice.

All are welcome to attend, so feel free to tame and bond a chicken then train it up (you don't need any taming skill) and bring it along.

Full details will be announced next week.

The actual date was first mentioned in a post just over a week ago. Like most Gilfane topics, it was in our private forum. However, for the sake of 'the spy' I will move it over to the public one. But then I will just be accused of manipulating the database I guess.

However, my main interest is to get extra events on the shard. If you are seriously wanting to host such an event then you can do so with my blessing. We will think of something else to hold at Gilfane.

go to north jhelom island and then up to the little corral and there will spawn greater chickens. start training them on sheep and when they hit like 40-50 hp switch em to bulls till you hit 100ish. i would suggest a greater as they will have better resists 8-10% is a good one 10% being max. i think a couple of cock fights will be great, it gives people a reason to actually spend the time training one and more incentive to bond it. we have worked out most of the details about our event already and plan to make it worth attending and everyone is welcome. expect a post in the next day or so with complete details!
