[Discussion] CHESAPKEAE 2010 RARES FESTIVAL ALTERNATIVE AUCTION

As always the Rares Festival will be holding an auction for participants to to sell their items.

This time around due to incidents in the past we will be doing it in a different manner.

Anyone wishing to submit an item to the auction will give the item directly to either Demonous or myself, NO ONE ELSE with a book containing your ICQ and either your stratics name or Character name that you brought to the festival.

The item will then be secured in the auction house on display for anyone to view. If a prospective buyer decides to make an offer they will do so directly to the seller. Once a sale price has been agreed upon and the owner has contacted Demonous or myself, we will change the auction house to private and remove the item. On the house located next door we will have vendors placed which we will use to sell a book for the agreed upon amount to the buyer. Once the book has been purchased and the total confirmed the item will be released to the buyer, and the gold delivered to the owner.

I know this may seem a bit complicated, but Demonous and I will handle everything so all you need to do is submit the item and work out the price with the buyer, or set a buy out. Plus this creates added security for you the owner so you do not have to worry about losing your rare items.

alright, just so everyone knows the Rares Auction House is still under construction, i was planning to start using it next friday, but im hoping its finished being designed much sooner so people can submit items and we can display them and people can start bidding, looks like a lot of people plan to put nice rares in auction

We will now start to take items for the Rares Auction. The Auction house is almost done being designed and should be ready to go either tomorrow or wednesday. It will be accessible via a house teleporter in the teleport hub house, which is the first vendor mall you see when you go west from the homare-jima moongate. If you have any items you wish to submit to the auction, please place each item in its own bag with a book, in the book include your name, icq number, starting bid, and buyout if there is one.

as stated above, The Auction house is almost done being designed and should be ready to go either today or tomorrow.

Due to the shards being down all day, there is a possibility that the auction house will not be ready until thursday, not to say it won't be ready tomorrow, but its possible that it might not be finished till thursday, just wanted to let everyone know

The Chesapeake Rares Auction House is now open to the public !!!! accessible via a house teleporter at the teleport hub rares vendor mall at the center of the rares festival location, this is the mall you first see when coming from the tok homare-jima gate, look for the house teleporter with a gold statue above it engraved "rares auction", please bid using bulletin boards or icq the owner, thanks !
