Characters Over 30 Days Old Not Getting Tickets

I just went and tried to collect the tickets for all of my characters on Pacific only to find that the newest, which was created over 30 days ago, didn't get a ticket, but instead gets a message saying it's too young to get a gift. That's strange since that particular character was the first one made for the 7th character slot, and 4 of the characters made on other shards got tickets. So out of every shard, only 4 got their gift, with none of those 4 being my home shard. A friend is also telling me that 3 of her characters, which are over 5 yrs old, didn't get gifts either.

Why is this still an issue with the gifts? I had the same problem with a character that was over 4 yrs old during the 12th anniversary gift period not getting his gift either. Now I've got to hope that at some point in the next few days these tickets appear or I'm going to have to let a lot of people know that I don't have 7 tickets to x-shard trade with them, but only 6, because the people there at EA still haven't fixed this issue that's been around for quite some time. So tell me EA, exactly who has their head up their posterior entrance this time around?

i have found that if my char is standing near a wall or door when i login that she wont get a gift. if i move them more into the interior of the inn or bank then logout and login, they get their ticket. that probably doesn't help you, but wanted to mention it.

I've tried moving the character, taking it to the bank and opening it's bank box, then going back home. Closing the client down completely and restarting it. Nothing works. Just get the same message that the character is too young to receive a gift. Funny how 4 characters that were created after that one were old enough, but the one before isn't. I've checked all of the other shards and found that I'm missing a total of 11 gifts. Needless to say I'm a bit miffed at this point.

Before anyone says not to look a gift horse in the mouth, you actually have to GET the horse before you can check out it's teeth.

If your only missing 11 out of probably the 7 you have on each shard, not to mention multiple accounts (if you have any), I would say thats not bad.

That's 11 out of the 14 just from the 7th character slot. No, that's not bad, it's terrible. I haven't taken the time to log onto every character yet, and am almost afraid to.

I`ve been getting the "Your to young to recieve a gift" since I started Siege. I know its been over a month now and I still get it.

They don't have to be logged on sometime during the year. They just have to be over 30 days old, which all of mine are. As I'd said previously, even a friend of mine has 3 characters that are over 5 yrs old, that have been logged on and played, that didn't recieve their gifts either.

Just asking, I seem to remember, going back a number of years that chars should be logged in sometime during the year and over 30 days old. Might be wrong or it may have changed. I do know I've always made sure to do this and never had a problem.

They were logged on when they were created over 30 days ago. That was still this year.

I have 5 chars on Oceana and have not received anything yet also..

There old...they have there PBD....

So it may just be certain servers having problems..

Over half of my characters DID NOT get the gifts...although they are ALL over a year old...wtf?

So it appears that instead of a small blunder like the 12th anniversary was, this time it's turning out to be a major issue. Not getting half or more of your tickets is pretty F'd up. I sure hope they do something to fix this situation.

It seems someone at EA has been busy. I just went through all of my characters on every shard and now have tickets on all of the characters that were missing theirs earlier. Did anyone else recheck their chars?

I've had that problem before, with cahrs that have been inactive for a long time. For me, logging and and then back in seemed to "jog" the servers memory and make em update and give me stuff.

I'd logged all of these chars in and out several times this morning. I just happened to log onto one of them while going through each shard claiming the tickets on all of the other chars and saw that one that didn't get one this morning had one late this afternoon. I'm betting someone at EA did something server side to "help" the game recognize the actual age of the chars.

Connor, this was the problem. Everyone and their uncle has been doing this all day. Did you see the complaints about the login servers not responding?

The login servers have been extremely taxed today. The login servers also control all of your entitlements. As the rush dies down I think most of the ticket issues will sort themselves out.

Long ago, the ruling was that the character had to be over 30 days old and logged in at some particular time before gifts (don't remember what that rule was). If they were not logged in and had not gotten a gift at the last gift giving then they got one. If there not logged in and got a gift at the last gift giving they did not get one. That has been happening to me for a long time. Some get, some don't so I am not surprised if it is happening now. I never heard that rule to be changed.

I have characters not getting them either. Funny enough it's the same ones that didn't get the anniversery tickets this year.
