Wow how did that post double up like that ?
Thats right Ned !
But back in the day, on saturdays, Lord Brittish and Lord Blackthorne played chess and philosophed on the destiny of their world... and ; indeed we're not surprised :
Thats when they came up with the plan to wipe the servers, and also the reason I was brought in the seer team.
But you see they both vanished after being offered this HUGE price for UO rights. For a company that financed UO in the first place, the offer was humongous.
There is little logic work left to do to connect the dots... someone with ALOT of money saw that if the server wipe occured and the active tracking system (that was the rumor) was pur into place... the game would become virtuous and the wonderful UO item and gold market on the web would die.
Hmm, is it lord Blackthorne ? It certainly wasn't Lord Brittish, cause he escaped to space like an englishman with his millions... leaving us without much of a clue even (possibly the contract prevented him to speak up)...
You see Kimi... you just bring a point that reinforces my point of view. Since there is no consequences to killing anyways (original system destroyed) isn't it overkill to add forged pardons ? Why not real pardons and use a COMMUNITY court ?
Whatever, with or without effort we can clearly see how this game was geared to be an eternal gold mine for some elite and rich people.
Can we break out of the mold ? Not unless we unite...
