Challenge!

This is a challenge to all players RPer's and Non RPer's alike.

The Challenge is that for one week you go without The moongate spell Recall spell and sacred journey spell and you can't use other peoples moongates. You can only use the public moongate to change Facet and must only go to the locations listed when changing facets.

To change Facets..
Trammel - Minoc
Felucca - Minoc
Ilshenar - Valor
Malas - Umbra
Tokuno Islands - Isamu-Jima

I have been able to do this several times and I think it is a fun experience.

James asked me if I would put this in to remind anyone that wants to take the challenge that if you need help navigating a ship he can help.

The only possible way anyone would accept this challenge is if they where asked to toss their rune books into a locked deadly trapped chest for 25k

Too bad there is not a vortex sickness that makes you lose 20 on all stats for 3 min after recalling or gate travel, would be funny as hell

I used to RP my tank for years. I used to make him have the attitude of being scared to death of "summoned" moongates. So I used to run everywhere, I was quite shocked at how fast I could get around.

Seige Perioulous has the rules you call for. There is no sacred journey or recall spell there. The only way you can travel is by a perma-gate, boat mount or if your a mage you can summon a moongate. Not everyone is a mage, so when you are able to open gates, its a bigger deal.

I still need to find the "back entrance" to Ice island. I hear its goes through the rear of despise?

Back then the Moon actually determined it. Who would have thought a Moongate actually was powered by the moon? Just lets you know how the power of the dollar sign truly works.....

I always wondered how it determined where to throw you when you entered it haha any chance you have a listing of which phases went where?

Very good idea! I wish people would use less traveling spells. I wish the environment and landscape would be more exciting and dynamic.

I can show you Bob, here or on Siege? Pays your gold and take your choice. On Siege I run everywhere. By doing that also you can learn your way around and might find some interesting things along the way.

Also on Siege in Brit there is a green gate that will take you to Serpents Hold and one to get back on. It sure was nice when the invasion was going on I could still do escorts.
