I just finished my cashbot suit and read all the guides on the CFO but Im still a bit nervous about doing this for the first time. Is there any other advise that anyone can give to me?

I would advise you to go to You Tube and check out a clip of the CFO fight, so you have an idea of what is going to happen. Plan on being a stomper in your first fight, letting more experienced toons do the craning, and go with a group like Stratics or the Cold Callers Guild if you can, but if not, try to get in Nutty River and go with some toons who are experienced and follow their lead. I found the CFO easier than the VP myself, and I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised by how well you handle it. For one thing, the toons are all more experienced by that battle. Just my opinion!

Yep, what Zippy said. The CFO cog battle is somewhat like the VP, only there's one long run instead of two shorter ones. After that, you go into the crane room. The CFO stays in one place right in the center. He spits out goons from the hatches under him. The goons are small and yellow at first, then larger yellow, then orange, then red, then BIG and red. The color he pops out is the same color of the dot on his chest. As a first timer, just make sure you keep all the goons stomped. And if you get in trouble, each goon stomped pops out a treasure (like the ones you see on the playgrounds).

I wouldn't worry about advanced strategy just yet, just keep the goons stomped. After you've done the battle a few times, you will learn when to make the CFO sit, where is best for the craners for you to stomp the goons down, etc. The goons aren't like the VP goons; some move faster and their path is random. But as long as you have craners that know how to crane, this is the easiest battle of the four, by far. Good luck, you can do it!

If it was me, I would do one of two things. If you want to go before sunday nights run then I would post to see if you can get a good group together. On the very first runs I did I posted and got a group of great toons to help me with my first VP,CFO,CJ, and CEO. They made it look so easy. I can mainly play after 9pm est time so just let me know if you want help. Second I would wait for sunday nights or go with CCG. I think for your first run might be difficult to get done in nutty river. You never know if they are exp or not. I have been in a cfo with all RB and still it was a difficult battle.

I would advise to only goon. If some stop coming out of him you should hit the page up key to see some craning in action. Good luck to ya!

Thank you everyone this was a big help to me and you are right it wasnt as difficult as I thought.

I had no idea that you can watch a clip on You tube which is what I wanted. I had been wishing for a while that there was a way to just observe the battle before actually doing it and I never even thought about you tube. I also did go with the cold callers guild and was amazed how smoothly everything went.

I'm really glad you went and had a good time! I really have fun in the CFO battle. On You Tube, I saw someone do a CFO battle solo and may work up the nerve someday myself!! They made it look so easy! The battle I like the least is the Boss. I wish there was some way, other than Unites, to toon other toons. I just get frustrated with the conveyor belts because it seems to force some toons to practically camp there.

Steveo, I sure agree that just because you go with a group of big suits doesn't mean you are safe. I once had to disco with a group of Robber Barons when the goons went red and just flat-out swarmed. I was with randoms, so we couldn't discuss it later, but SOMETHING went wrong! I've never gone with a group of Hollywoods before, or any of the others, but it sure taught me a lesson!

Yeah, an elevator full of RB stompers is not a good thing... (of course I AM one)... which is why we all need to learn to crane.

yeah what she said. i learned to crane in self defense. now i can switch over to goon or crane when needed. sometimes it HAS been needed. try an elevator full of robbers (randoms) and i WAS the only craner. lol.

I've only been into the CFO twice but I would love to learn how to crane. I actually found a video on You tube that shows the battle but also you can see what one of the craner's is doing with their fingers on the keyboard. It makes it look easy or at least doable.

You tube is a great resource and it's actually how I found y'all.
