So since we had a nice turnout on Feb 12th, it goes without saying (gonna say it anyway) that it was a mess on trying to count toon bodies and trying to make sure everyone knew how many to a group. This is why Trish needs to be there, that way it's her pulling her fur out instead of any of the others of us.
Anyways, been trying to think of how we can better organize from the start so that when it's time to load and go, we're better prepared for it instead of wishing we had toon tazers to get people to stop moving around like a dog sniffing around for a place to do its business.
Idea #1, similar to VP. Since the main goal is for EVERYONE to hop onto the tables and squirt the CEO, then starting when people show up, we should line up (outside) based on status. Big Cheese with maxed gags on left side of the doors, everyone else on the right. Drawback to this is that the CEO is still a "kinda new" so not likely to have too many toons that are BC yet. However it would give a chance for people to know how to try to spread out to be more even on experience -vs- fresh meat.
Idea #2, Groups of four toons (outside). As people come, they should join up into groups of four. Not that those four would necessarily be on the same run, just that it'd be easier to count the number of groups, multiple by four and add in another one to three (for those in the incomplete group, if there is one). When there is a group of four, the next group should be made at a noticeable distance away so that it's extremely obvious (and easy) to see who is where. I'm thinking that the first group would huddle on one side of the doors, next four would huddle on the other side of the door, third would be somewhere away from both groups but obviously still nearby to the doors, etc. This would be solely for making it easy to tell how many people are there, it wouldn't be to say who you are running with.
Idea #3, Bubbles. Only drawback is that not everyone has Chat+. However, for pre-grouping into eights, the first eight would be in group one, thus doing a ".group won" so that when there are eight at that group, ".group too" would form. When it's time to run in, that's when group swapping might happen, to balance the loads.
Idea #4, The Joker method. Basically, complete and utter pandemonium as everyone stuffs, squeezes, cramps and sardines themselves into the elevator and pray that you aren't part of the last group because that last group might be short a few toons (really bad if there are only only two or three players left).
Opinions, thoughts, comments, toonicide attempts?
