Capture the flag...

Ok one last run at this before the really nice weather hits and my play time go bye bye!

I would love to run a large scale capture the flag game.

East stuff, get two groups of people (guilds or non guilded groups) and each have a strong hold (places off the beaten path and wide open) place a red robe on the ground and let the fun begin!

This would be anything goes! a team can play all tamers and guard their flag with 10 GD, a team can play all stealthing thieves and steal the flag or a group of 20 mages casting fields and EQS!

I would love to do a no loot but put up a bounty (each guild posts 500k or something like that) I am open to the looting thing!

The best part is the battles may be over fast or take a long time, who knows!

We can have the teams start in different towns and then lets the games begin!

The best will be to have one representitive from each team have a meeting to pick the place and time. With a little notice I hope we can get at least 7 on 7 or even better.

If you dont like the idea please keep you thoughts to yourself, I really want to keep this thread positive.

That being said I would love to hear from different groups, I think it would be great if the CHAD guild fielded a team, pitting their stealing skills against another groups tracking/revealers

I'm in Chad's guild, but would only steal the flag from you if you weren't holding anything better . Make sure not to use a deathrobe! Unstealable and would rot on the ground in a few minutes.

How about asking the EM tonight if he would be on board? Prizes generally means more people will join in, and everyone was crying about the 1v1 tournament stuff. Just throwing it out there.

Hard to get an EM involved when not one person Pmed me about trying to do it.

Hell it only got 7 posts...maybe it needed to be a poll...lol

I think more people enjoy posting here rather then playing here. I for one only haunt these boards when I am at the office and its slow.

Try to pick a decent day though, weekdays generally are harder for me to play for a period of time. Weekends i tend to go and get drunk!

BUT if it is forewarned im sure i could hold of going out and getting drunk to stay in get drunk and play uo

Yeah, even though my guild can't field a whole team i'll be a free agent to any teams who need me. So would stealth be allowed after the flag is picked up? Figure that might make the round pretty short if so.

*edit* you'd need an army of detectives to catch me if stealthing with the flag is allowed

I really like the consept. Its a good idea and i would probably join, but i doubt we could get it together in time for me to join.

Your right about the weather stuff. Very soon its going to be more landscaping, fishing, and farming.
