Can't create boards? (Carpentry)

Okay, so boards arent on my list of "Other" things i can create when i double click my frou..

are they in some other category? do i need a special tool?

Use an axe or hatchet on the pile of logs. They will be turned into boards if your carpentry or lumberjacking is high enough to use that wood type. Bowcrafting alone will not let you make boards (just verified on TC1). See here: Making Boards. The logs have to be in your backpack.

It is a nice change.
