(Question) Can Wizard's hats be altered/enhanced/reforged?

... please be gentle with me........ it's been a LONG time since i could dedicate more than an hour or more at a time to play UO. So, i have both forgotten a LOT and don't know much of the "new" enhancement options that this game offers.

... is there any kind of upgrade/enhancement/alteration or whatever new expansion option there might be, that would allow for a wizard's hat to be "enhanced" ? ......... or is a wizards' hat, just is, what it is?

You can craft one and then Imbue it with the Propertys you want on it

The cloth hats can be reforged and imbued, but not enhanced (since they are not made of any ingot or leather).
