I've been reading all your thoughts about the language barrier, and I totally understand what some of you are saying. I'm from Sweden, so I don't think (and I hope not) what I'm about to say will make me some kind of a racist. When I first downloaded this game a couple of years ago I understood perfectly well that it's an american game with mostly american players. Back when I first played, my english wasn't exactly great, but I tried my best. I never expected anyone to speak my language, and I never went out looking for other swedish speaking players, because I figured now was the perfect opportunity to improve my english. I find it very very frustrating when I meet people from other countries, and I talk and talk and after a long silence they say something about not understanding. Like I said, I think this is an american game and people from other countries should try to accept that instead of getting upset when people don't answer them in their own language... The other day I was working in the restaurant, and someone from Brazil joined me. I suggested a way for us to work together, he said ok, and when we started working he did what he wanted to do without taking any notice of me. When I asked him what he was doing he said " I work you clean".... so I really understand if it gets a bit frustrating sometimes...
oh well it's a complicated subject and I have to say though that I think it's awsome being able to meet so many different people from different cultures!
