Can we go to next step in the story....?

1. I do not see any benefits on working on Loyality for a town.... (not even a title on paperdoll ... like Guardsmen of New Magincia, etc..)
2. Getting Pked by recalling to your own house by 6 raiders attacking you immediatly is not fun...
3. There is not even a special dorp by killing the raiders, like in the old trinsic attacks.


Give us on outlook, why we should accept that, or work on the story?!?

I must agree, currently there is no reward to this story arc. I cant even figure out whats good bad and neutral. the guard says capture or kill the rioters and put fires out. I have done this and all i got is a bad title. All I done was what the guard asked yet im hated by my town? Lame.So in closing a better explanation of the good neutral and bad deeds should be given.I see this going nowhere in a hurry.

Easy guide to gaining rep points:

1. Pick your city and stick with it. Swapping from city to city will lower your score overall.

2. Give "Angry Protestors" gold or food (I generally take a stack of 20-30k gold and drop it on them, they take their 1000 gold and give you the rest back)

3. Get a rope from the Guard Captain and use to arrest Rioters. DO NOT kill rioters. Make sure you take the time to dbl-click and remove all fires and trash before arresting them. Escort back to guard captain for points.

4. Kill raiders and ONLY raiders.

In response to the OP:

1 - This requires long range sight. I know this part just ticks off most of those in our instant gratification society we sadly have developed here in UO.

2 - Yeah, that can't be too fun. Sadly only three options I can think of for that....
A. Get used to seeing a monochrome screen on occasion.
B. Learn to run faster
C. move to the 'burbs

@ Shakkar - Unfortunately you are misreading what the Guard Captain is saying. They specifically say "Please take this rope and use it to arrest the rioters, and return them here". They do not mention anything about killing the rioters. When you kill the rioters you lose loyalty to that town. On the raiders they say "Slay the raiders if you must. However, you may attempt to subdue and arrest them." Rioters are grey, raiders are red... just to clarify it some.
