Can we get "balance" when asking the banker to include checks?

When you say balance at the bank it tells you how much you have in gold coins NOT what you also have in checks.

Could we get it changed as in this day and age most people have over 1mill so saying balance is worthless and annoying to have to cash all your checks just to see how much you have, plus trying to move the statcks to find the checks hidden behind them.

Opening the New insurance menu, also shows your total balance, but I agree the "balance" command should be the entire total.

Thats another good one, along with any npc vendor that when you try to buy something it says you cant afford it as its all in checks so you have to run to the bank cash the check then go back.

Its odd as player vendors do recognise its in check form but npc's dont.

Just have a bag in the bank devoted to 1 mil checks. Then just look at the item count.

That doesnt work and would be more time consuming, if you have say 400 gp in gold and buy something off a vendor for 20mill then it will take the 400 coins and 19'999'600 from the checks.
Leaving you with a bag of say 50 1mill checks and one that is for 400gp so you gota go through the bag next time you buy something off someone to make sure you dont give them the 400gp check thinking its one worth 1mill or take 20 checks out the bag in the first place so the check for 400gp stays in the bank not in the bag somewhere.

I asked this question before and I got the carry a house placement tool responce, so i did. Now I don't have to with the new insurance menu. However, I don't understand why the saying balance at the bank never included checks either. The house placement tool trick does not work in Ter-Mur until you reach 10k in loyalty to the gargoyle queen.

My understanding and reasoning is that it was inroduced way way back before they even thought about people having over 1mill [and before they even introduced checks] and has never been looked at or reviewed.

I bet you are right too! I wish they would FIX it.

Balance is quite nice to see when you have enough coins to make another mill check. It's easier to check your insurance menu, Includes it all and you can do it anywhere in 2 clicks.
