can someone pick locks in a house in trammel?

I believe so. When you lock them down, or secure them, just change the security settings so they can be used by "anyone."

No. I just checked.
I put a box down, used 'I wish to secure this' and locked it with the key.
I logged in a different char and tried to pick the lock. the message the char got was 'that is secure'

should be fine if you lock down the boxes and set them to anyone. I know it works if they are inside of something locked down and set to anyone. However they will not be able to take anything out (you said something about a lotto).

that was the idea. sell keys to a box on a vendor for a few k gold, and only one key will unlock the box. if i secure the box to anyone, but lock it, i figured it would work

I have seen boxes sold on a vendor with one that had a check in it. I am not certain how they made it so you couldn't look in them. But they put a check in one and the rest had a shaft in them. They all weighed the same. They were all priced for 50k.

yeah, i don't know how to do that, so i was gonna sell keys, and only once key could open the box, so you know to check the box before you buy the key type deal, i thought it would be neet
