Can NOT bard chest spawn - intended?

You can bard the (Guardian)s but you are unable to disco/provo/peace any spawn that pops up when pulling items from the chest.

Seems a little basakwards to me....

I hope its a bug. Side effect of making them not tameable.

Aye, there's some discussion in this thread.

There's also some mention of it here in the bard forum.

Seems like something that would have had to be coded on purpose. I can't imagine why.
