Can lower years use the 9th & 10th Year Vet Rewards ?

Like the Ankh of Sacrifice, the mining cart and the 3 rugs. Even though only 9th & 10th Years only can pick them, can lower Years use them anyways ?

If you save your vet reward points you can spend them on whatever appears on your list. you could pick 18 shard xfer shields when you hit 14 years If you have that many points saved up.

I know it would be cheating but I'd pay to age my account or use items older then what my account is. But I will just pay and play and age my account the old fashion way.

It really depends on the item. The Ankh is usable by all. The mining/etc carts are placable by the correct age account - then usable by all. The 10th anniv rugs have to be placed by an account old enough - in a house with the house holder old enough and the rewards have to be claimed by an account old enough. You'd have to research each item for a full list.

Personally I wish they would just do away with the year requirement all together.... If you are old enough to claim it you ought to be able to sell it if that's your desire and whoever you sell it to ought to be able to use it. JMO.

I agree on most items - but I would exclude account bound items (Soulstones and Shard Shields) and I would probably exclude the robe/cloak/ethies since they were done to provide a way for the veterans to stand out somewhat.

I would agree with that. But yes things like dye tubs, and ankhs, most of the deco stuff should all be able to be used and sold..... banner deeds, wall shields, hanging skeletons...... this stuff should not be age based to use. That also includes those rugs.

Yep - those rug restrictions are very frustrating.

Not sure if this information i can provide is usefull, but it "worked" for me.
Account A had a house with treestump decoration vet rewards locked down.
Account B was not old enuf to use treestump decoration, (Could not lock them down in house)
Account A trade house to Account B.
Account B Can get wood off treestump decorations... (But still not lock new treestump decorations down)
... This is like a year ago, and Account B is old enuf to lock his own treestump decorations down...
Not sure if it still works, For all i care it could be a bug....

As someone mentioned in another thread...Remove the age requirement its kinda silly... I highly doubt iv'e ever be able to use shard shields ( Have to wait like 6 years lol ?)
