Ditto.. actually I'd make him an Admin. Hell.. make him an owner. I'm surprised nobody has ponied up the $20k to buy out Stratics yet. Even Sony only has forums here because of contract reasons and runs its official forums independently.
Heh.. even Mytic has the smarts to keep the official forums for its games off of Stratics.
Make Cheapsuit an Admin I say!!! I like Cheapy.. but the tradition is to promote those in Stratics who are the lowest of low.

The benefits are the fashizzle. People hate you for doing things you have to do - sometimes, if your really lucky - you get hate for things you didn't do, but might have thought about maybe doing!

Be careful...you may get what you wish for, and find out that what you wished for is not what you wanted!
You might also prompt someone else into volunteering, and they get offered the position and you don't and you end up with a new mod with a style favored by Jasper on the Simpsons:

Serioulsy, I think Mo is less than perfect, but "honestly" tries his best to be as fair as any human can be. I think he should stay as mod, and everyone on his tail should cut em some slack.

I too think Mo should stick around. People are going to always disagree. I remember when everyone used to tell Kelmo that same thing about TnT/TnA. And he stuck it out and hung around. A better mod because of it. Suck it up Mo,

I don´t know mo'gluk ingame but from what I see on these boards I too think he does a good job.
Maybe I´m just ignorant when it comes to a few ingame things but you know what they say about ignorance...

I'd be a mod, if not for two things:
a) I don't have much spare time at the moment and
b) I fear my moral standards, combined with the RoC, would reduce these boards to a ghost town.
I nominate Skylark as a moderator. She's not currently in any of the alliances, rarely sets foot in-game at the moment, and doesn't put up with any bad cooking or poor fashion sense. Those factors should, hopefully, provide some defence against rampaging village idiots.
*DISCLAIMER* I am not trying to send poor Skylark to an early grave, or call any specific person a village idiot. I don't have anything against villages,or village people either, but the first person found singing 'YMCA' outside my tower will find various boots flying out the window in their general direction.

I was actually asked to become a Stratics Mod by a Stratics admin. about 4 yrs ago maybe a bit longer. And I *almost* said yes then got to thinkin on it and said to my self oh hell noooooooooooooo !! I declined the *job* !
I raised 3 kids I don't wanna baby sit no more !
I am just not *establishment enough* either ... I prefer to be FREE spirited or some such thing, not some authority figure.
I give em all credit for doing the job really....and when they blow up I fathom it entirely many of the times, I...oft wonder what keeps em sane in the face of some peeps dis'ing em with their endless mod bashing posting habits. Bet if THEY were mods they would crack up even more often. Easy to say whatever, till they would actually have to walk a mile or two in some regular uo player yet.. mod's shoes. *edits* haha that of course depends on who's mods on which forums here !
