Can EJ accounts get crystalline blackrock from mining?

I'm trying to gather resources to open event town on smaller shards. Spent yesterday working mining on Siegen with a blue, hit 97 and just realized this is an EJ toon that can't get colored ore. Can I still get crystalline blackrock from mining regular iron ore on this account? Thanks.

I think you just get pieces of blackrock from mining. UO guide says rare CB from mining in ter mur.

Elementals are the best way to get CB. Plenty of shadow and others in yamitsu mines.

Crystalline blackrock is from the ratman in the cavern of the discarded at the stygian abyss dungeon.

You can get crystalline blackrock from mining in Ter Mur, but I'm not sure if EJ can get special resources, I don't think they can - Endless Journey – Ultima Online

Very weird how they decided what EJ accounts can get. Probably determined by some whiney poster that hates EJ or new players.
