I like PvP its a natural part to a RPG game. There is no such thing as a perfect world unfortunately... tram... maybe.
I have been playing this game at the start, and what really made community was blues sticking together, hunting together, to fight off that one red bandit. Walking down the streets on the look out for highway robbers. Fighting off those dang robin hood types taking my invun armor and selling it on there vendors for short money!
Those trick bank thieves that made you hide your GOOD goods deep in your bag, and your fake house keys in the main bag. Those where the days of community.
No body makes friends with a stranger anymore theres no need for that feeling of safty in numbers. Go out into a world alone no one will hunt you. You wont hunt them for that Hefty bounty on there head. That bounty board filled my pockets a few times. On the other hand it was a high score board for my alter ego.
Those where the days.
PvP wasn't grief IT WAS role playing. No one talked down to you after killing you, or being killed. They took what then needed to survive. There was no point to be ress killed... Unlike now where you lose more money instantly! We where so far forward 10 years ago. We haven't seen how far back we have come. All my grief in the world wont see the game that I loved...

If the world was still like that, people would make much less money out of scamming the good will of the people by selling duped gold...
Which is the reason in the first place EA brought the game. These psycho hackers were ready to hack the game to death, to crash the servers instead of having it remain true to itself. Thats why they created a disclaimer that protects those hackers and let them do business, many MILLIONS USD per year...

Actually I haven't had the time to look into it... it's pay to view you know. But I'm not talking conspiracy in the straight sense like global shiznits.
I'm talking what ices you to the spine... something twisted AND profound, because after all it's a hall of mirrors, 7 years of bad luck if you break one... you know that kind of stuff.
I'm NOT into politics and particular people, I destroy concepts, by proposing an unimaginable alternative, how long it would take to manifest it I cannot be sure, but I feel a duty to persevere, cause what UO is right now, is despicable... I even haven't the guts to show it to my girlfriend yet ! Everyone is stucked in a perpetual non philosophic world of war crafts and werk. I'm not saying it's bad like it's smooth and I'm actually impressed they managed to keep it going, good guys working on this and most must be impressed now about what UO means.
It's not a game, yes it's alive, yes it has surpassed my intelligence.
I'll try and shut up for a while.

Biased in what way? No posts are ever modified or deleted as long as they follow the forum rules (which are basically no real life personal attacks or posting about cheats/exploits).
The only way a new forum could be less "bias" in your opinion is to allow those things.

But as to why you have not opened at least one of them to make I dunno... a tavern or something. What is good about preserving history if noone can at least see anything about it ? I think you mentioned something about a duping bug in the tower... but that was fixed right ? So why not unlock them now ?

EA just likes me more than you. Don't take it so hard.
Ok if you must have it your way, yes I'm unlikeable, and fortunately for me like is lesser than love ! Or so they say ; I never cared much for one liners anyways.
When I say your voice should be louder in the video, it's because it was mixed too low, from my perspective I feel you so hostile towards me, like some guilds were hostile to me in the past. I get that old school feeling.
But when I get into UO, some people I know some have sane fun there and... (only talking about roleplay, not actual gameplay...)
I always end up with the conclusion more complex more fun ! Well I bring something thats sadly the truth about it. And sometimes, somewhere you must have the truth.
So I went and tried to PvP in atlantic like the good old days, but this time I was faced with invincible foe, often in packs, and well... it was laughable, not only that, fools are running amok, not understanding that to roleplay in UO, you have to "know" that it's not only a game, you must have virtue, or you're not what should be in the system of control. This goes both ways you see ? Because nothing can be hidden anymore, nothing is private on the internet so far as the avatar is concerned.
Get it ? I'm not here to complain or accuse, even sue. Who do you think I am ? so shallow ?
I get the PvP feeling from talking to you on stratics, while I should get it in game !!! I even got the key, it's in the abyss somewhere I can't be bothered to remember.

Well perhaps some people can like my attitude and my heartfelt humanity, but noone really likes what I am, because I bring bad news for almost everybody and I have been in bed with oblivion. I'm a loser and even more a loser because I'm frustrated about being such a loser. Figures... I forgive myself.
I'm not taking it personally anyways, I know how to bring UO out of comfort zone, and it's ironic because I know they are somehow trying to do exactly that, but without me they will fail miserably. The black gem is a heavy stone to bear... and the complexity of information it transmited to my brain just cannot be imagined. Someone, somewhere will get it.
