No ... not IDOC - Luna. If I recall his post elsewhere asking what could he do, he wanted and could support a larger plot where he was, so cleared things out, dropped and before he could place new, the person had placed.
The persons name was in his other post (elsewhere) and on that shard is a known scripter. However, NOTHING has been done to deal with these situations. Said person was hidden, and part of the issue is that Detect Hidden ws not used before drop/place.
It still does NOT excuse EA inaction on this issue.

If that is indeed the situation that occurred, then it is solely the fault of the owner that purposely redeeded their own house. Bottom line. Any scripting that may have occurred is besides the point.
I’ve been on both side of this situation. I’ve placed a house when someone else tried to resize their plot. I was logged out at the IDOC and missed the fall. When I logged on the owner who placed at the IDOC was in the act of resizing, when they dropped their house I quickly placed(no scripting involved).
On the flip size, when I wanted to resize a couple of my houses in the past, I took steps against situations such as this. I made an effort to train up tracking to an appropriate amount to check for any possible hidden characters near by. On at least 2 instances that could have saved my house because of hidden people near by. I’m not sure if they were waiting on me redeeding or not, but better safe than sorry.
I don’t see resizing houses as cost effective or beneficial enough to spend R&D on creating a secure house resize ability. Some might argue Risk vs. Reward, some might point out common sense, some might even say of the placer ‘right place, right time’. Ultimately the owner made the conscious decision to drop the house.
