Whats a good price Czarina?

I'm new to Seige and my char. needs money to pay off my house mortgage.

If it's worth it I'll spend a few hours a day lumberjacking.

Careful Guardian, you never want to sell it.

Rent it out for a reasonable price and timeframe, sure, but a transfer of ownership never ends well.

I cannot even believe your pulling this list out of mothballs.

Lemme get in line for buying 1/2 the stuff on this list with prices from 3-4 years ago.

Ill start by putting in bids for the ingots and the bloodwood boards. Ever try to farm bloodwood???

Your gonna get the title "Shard Lowballer" Cz.

I said it was a great base for pricing with the key term being base. As in a good starting point for figuring out a price. Why are you so intent on changing all the pricing on siege thats been working fine for years? First you single handedly raised the pricing on soulstones, recently you have scoffed at the points to gold ratio from the clean up. and now you are talking bout resource pricing? If you remember right our ingot price skyrocketed a few years back to 300 times what they used to be. I remember when iron ingots were only 3gp each then they jumped to 30gp each. Now i suppose your suggesting we raise them more?

I dont know where you get your ideas for pricing on siege but its very odd.

You seem to think everyone that comes to siege farms all day and has millions upon millions of gold.

If prices went up any higher then the craftables that still sell would cost more then thier usefullness. So please dont bring in your opinions on resource pricing. If you think the prices should be higher then send a PM to petra or someone and have them revise the list. If you noticed i did not list anything lower then the basic resources as i know their pricing has changed.

On a side note there are plenty of trees out there that can net you 1k+ bloodwood just outside delucia.

Gotta set you right here love...

Im the guy that bitched and threw his glove down when people wanted 3-4 million for a Soul Stone. I repeatedly stated there value at 2 million. I stated I payed 2 million per and not a cent more for over 25 of them (at that time). So I don't know where you came up with this statement?

Most the real people out there (not the ones who've had 20 accounts handed to them or live 24/7 for IDOCS) would like a little more than 100k for 10k points. Yes im aware you have 25 accounts horded with 100000000 items for the turn in. Since you haven't had to EARN one point you really don't understand the value (and I don't consider buying everything in sight 3 weeks before the turn in for 100 gold apiece as EARNING). You just check another account, turn in a bunch of stuff in a house that hasn't seen a person in years, then throw the new stuff on a vendor. You really have NO idea the value. Its like the millionaire that can't understand why someone won't pay 100 bucks for a "Gormet" burger... Or why everyone doesn't leave the change for a 20 dollar bill on a 2 dollar cup of coffee. I can think of only one person with SO MUCH STUFF that they're handing it away free... Answer a riddle and get free million gold items. Do a race over there and make a few million doing this or that. I just personally don't have the immencely large stockpile (of everything) that you do that allows me to drive the price down of purchases or resouce value.

The millions upon millions statement is not even worth addressing as I rarely if ever have more than a million to my name. Second I hit 2 mill I usually lose it on a Soul Stone.

1k Bloodwood WHERE??? I've farmed areas for HOURS to get one tree to change to bloodwood for 2 respawns and reverts back to some lower type. If theres SOOOO much bloodwood out there then why haven't I heard about it or bought any in MONTHS that i've been spamming for it. Any vet won't trade it or let go of it cause THEY also know the priceless value. All the resource farmers ARE GONE. WE NO LONGER HAVE A LARGE RESOURCE GATHERER ON SIEGE P. Cyber Nickle and the other 3 large resource buyers HAVE LEFT SIEGE P. or just don't play anymore. Look at the recent thread from Cyber asking if people still play here. All large amounts are further more gone via clean-up value.

Buy low and sell high are the ways to get rich. I'm not rich as you can see. I have a pixel here and will trade it for a pixel there, thats how I do business.

Im not sitting on a billion points and pushing for a lower price. I'm not trying to buy wood at prices quoted 3-4 years ago. My goal isn't to get rich but to get a larger player base on Siege and have fun doing so. I see no benefit buying out a player here so they can move somewhere else.

I believe my cost accessment for Siege P. is reasonable and justified.

Ive hit 7 IDoCs in my total time on siege. Im at work when they fall except special cases when they happen to fall on my days off. Every item i turned in for points was bought off someones vendor or traded for. I was saving up items to turn in before they even announced the clean up. Yes i know im a wishfull thinking and put too much faith in EA sometimes. but in this case it panned out! yay me!

As for the clean up points to gold ratio. I just started a simple thread where people could pick. so needless to say i didnt pick that price, the public did.

Your statement of buy low sell high is proper business. If i paid the high rate on barbed leather my suits would net me a negative profit. So yes i normaly try to pay the low range. Its kind of hard to buy more leather, since i dont farm it, if i make 0 profit off the suits crafted with it. I should record a normal days gameplay of mine for you. Your back would hurt just watching me. When most people spend time farming, Im making hourly rounds of checking vendors, farming resources (not as long as i used to) and compiling lists of things to atttempt to purchase to sell off in the future.

When new stuff comes out i do what i can to gather large amounts of said items. I sit on alot of it till the prices go up a bit. I do the buying/selling game in bulk.

To sum this up i dont make up random pricing on thing. I go with the current rate that others base THEIR vendors on. I update my notepad accordingly. If prices change then so be it. But one vendor out there that decides to make up a price ruins the curve. For a great example ill use hauldens runic vendor. Our runic prices were a decent set price till he put his vendor up. His prices are so low he managed to run every other runic vendor away. The work to get runics isnt worth the amount that he set for them. This is called horrible business. I for one dont see how he is making any profit at all.

So please stop arguing with me about prices. I dont set them. the rest of the shard does. When someone asks how much something is and i respond. Im simply going off a list that gets a daily revision. I was in a hurry when i copy and pasted the above so i gave a standardized rate that is honesty nearly accurate still considering i have yet to see anyone selling at higher numbers or lower.

Wanted to add something after rereading your post. You say your not sitting on a billion points and pushing for a lower price. You dont understand me at all going by that message. Yes i have around 22 million turn in points left. If i was truly money grubbing then dont you think i would go with the higher numbers? Oh also in all actuality we could sell much much more higher considering i stocked 8 mill points worth of suits and sold out in under 24 hours. You know what this tells a good business person? It says raise your prices because they will pay. Did i raise my prices? No. I left them right were they were because i wanted to litter the shard with these items they wanted. You want to know why i didnt go with your 50k idea? Cause thats called selling yourself short. I commend you for trying to better the shard. But when you try to sell highly sought after items like that your not helping anything. your actualy ruiniing the economy. You would be overly flooding the market with items. I honestly dont think you have any concept of the term "rare" Which surprises me because yes your vendors are ones i use to base some prices off of. Your supply is great and your prices are right on with the others on the shard. It just seems that you feel the need to argue when i post something involving a price rate on something.

Hopefully you read this and actualy "think about it" instead of just replying with more random biased information that you have set for yourself. Your starting a trend for yourself.

I have nothing against you at all. Going by your vendors you have decent business sense. Your just missing the case in point on a couple things.

Oh and i completly agree that resources should go up in value as nobody mines or hits trees anymore. But untill i actualy see a increase in the prices people are selling them for then ill stick with the basic pricing. Thank you
