Anyone able to make a bunch of these? Need 30 South facing and 15 East?

Please reply here if you can fill this order so 2 people don't make at once!

Thanks!

In a few hours mining I got 11 shadow granite stones. Each table needs 9 so to make 45 tables would take me over 35 hours mining just to get the materials. Is your profile for real? You would need to be from Beverly Hills to pay me for that order.

Yikes that seems a bit tedious. There must be an easier way, I hope.

Don't see many of those for sale on rodeo drive :(

Aye that is one of the larger issues with mining for granite.

The old random number generator, will give us a zillion plain granite, yet even the other so called LOW END colors, like the shadow only come up like one shadow granite rock for every zillion of plain white. It gets even WORSE for mining up valorite granite...which is my Miranda's own fav. granite color of tables and chairs. :)

And I think Shadow is also a favorite of many a player. Whenever I DO manage to mine up 18 shadow granite rocks, make a couple tables for my vendor poof they are GONE ! And then folks wonder why we may price them at 4.5 a shadow table or 6-7k for a valorite one, add in the HOURS it took to be lucky to even get 9 granite of same color for ONE table beyond plain granite rocks...well time is money too rarer than mining up...even val. ore some days. We oft get the ore color more often, and the game slaps us with plain granite even when we hit a true shadow ore or valorite ore vein, yet more oft the granite lands in our pack.....plain ! :(

I will probably be taking down my stone mason vendors too, just due to the mining issue, of never or seldom getting the other colors we all need more of to make a 9 stone table (1) table let alone several of any one color other than plain ol granite ones. The randomness of mining for hours to get even a few granite the same colors to make anything like a table 6-9 dep. on sizes makes it pure laborious of hours of mining to keep em restocked with any regularity, at all per color, so most of us hang it up. :(

It would also be nice if the dev. team put a mining option on our shovels to ONLY get granite, not the ORE along with it...when all we want are granite stones not a ton of ore we do not want at all boggin us down .... when mining for, wanting just granite.

Shadow tables would display assorted colors bells probably the best though, etc. the issue will be regardless of how many hours we mine, we may only get 4 shadow rocks compared to 44444 + plain ones in any given hour/s.

I will check my supply of stone furniture to see if I have any shadow tables. I will also check my supply of stone to see how much shadow stone I have. I have stocked piled a bunch of stone over the years and hardly used any of it. I might have enough to make you a few tables. I'll let you know.

*EDIT* I can fill the order. I'm sending you a PM.

If you can get the materials I have no problem making them for you.

Ah, Just saw Patty was going to make them for you. Good luck, they do look good.

I am going to hi-jack this thread for a moment to ask how much stone furniture is worth. I have several verite tables and chairs, as well as bronze and val furniture plus some vases. I'd like to put them on vendor, but I am not sure how to price them. Any suggestions? Or kelmo, if you would like them to decorate the Newbie Inn, let me know!!

Well one rule of thumb I and others have used is ingot prices.

[for example if a single valorite ingot is 70gp a table full of the valorite stone can either be 70 per stone x whatever amt. one needs to use 70x 6 or 70 x 9, or a flat 7k rate per val. table less math that way, for the larger ones and less for the smaller tables of valorite, or 700 a chair even though it takes 4 to make a single chair. shadow is usually for example 4k 4.5k and 400/450 per chair, plains and dc in the 1k ranges, with verite valorite up there in the 6.5 -7.5 k range on tables.

OR whatever ;) but the rarity of getting the stone granite colors, is similar[ if not worse] than acquiring, an ingot of same color, in enough quantity to be worth a flip to make anything, and on up from plain to valorite.

Others charge more others less, I kinda follow old ingot prices, for the stone, and making the granite per stone, per color, similar in value. TIME is money too with RNG !
