Wulf, in theory, you could up damage output (strangle?), use familiars (if you can spare the control slot...) or speed up champ spawns.
Its not a bad combo for champ spawns at all; necro for the lower levels and the greater drag for the champ.
hell now you could run a necro tamer; get the champ up; log get your self kicked from the spawn area, gate home, swap to a disco tamer and solo the champ.
