I believe these are not tameable?
I think one of these last patches fixed this. I think there was a way to turn a regular hellhound into an ancient.
Yes, you could buy meat from a vendor at Halloween and then feed it to hell hounds to turn them. Main reason was to get a 'Bloody Sash' and they should have been turned off at Halloweens conclusion.
Ended up being used at the Despise spawn lol
If it were possible to do this there would be screams in foot high letters on UHall complaining about how unfair it was. There are no tame ancient hell hounds
And its good they stopped that. Anyone caught with a tamed ancient hellhound should be dealt with swiftly.And they fixed the bug so they cant be tamed now by doing that
Dont think anyone would use them for pvp only pvm

It wasn't possible to tame Ancients, and it wasn't possible to turn any hellhound that had EVER been tamed into an ancient. (Trust me, i tried, I wanted to release a bunch of hellhounds around in certain areas then feed them, but you got a message about the hound "no longer being in touch with it's primitive side" )
