was also wondering if anyone knows- the mortal strike feature- does that prevent things like hp regen, or conficence? Or just bandages? Greater heal? Potions?

Mortal is best for a template that uses archery too. I have a friend who ran a successful template like...

Blessed a nice composite, get a target to about mid life, mortal, then toss on the composite and chase the inevitable runner down, laughing as they ate shots to the back.
