Bulk Order Deeds... what do you consider junk?

I've decided to dust off my BOD collection and really start filling these again. To be honest I haven't seriously evaluated them since the addition of the bribe system. Does anyone who is really into them happen to have a list (both smith and tailor) of the BODs you consider to be complete junk, i.e. just throw them away? I'm sure someone somewhere has a list like this. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head is the large weapon and the large cloth 4 piece. Is everything else now saveable thanks to the ability to bribe them up? Thanks in advance.

I'd be interested in this too. I keep everything in case I need to bribe.. but it takes up space in the long run (i'm only collecting atm, not filling).

I consider the following junk (includes corresponding LBODs, unless I have an immediate chance to upgrade):

Tailor:
Exceptional Cloth (except for those needed for the Town Crier 20 EX)
Normal cloth that can't be filled off an NPC (full apron, surcoat, bonnet, sash)
Normal Bone armor (leather and spined)
Exceptional Bone armor that doesn't fit a CBD, horned kit or Barbed Kit larger.
Footwear that doesn't fit a runic or CBD large
*I used to junk the 120 tailor PS stuff, but now with the random chance of an upgrade to Barbed, I fill them, and if I get a PS I drop it in the garbage for spring cleaning points.
*normal cloth and normal leather smalls get filled either from NPCs, or if difficult enough, my two BOD runners still working toward 120.

Smith:
Exceptional weapons (except for a few polearm smalls I keep in case I get their large), unless I need garg pick, at which time I'll do the next couple hundred I get.
DC & Shadow exceptional larges.
all small normal non-combinables below Bronze 20 count
All BODs that give 115 PS.
*I do keep LBODs and smalls that give POF, hammers bronze & higher, or have the 10% chance for an ore-colored anvil.
*small iron BODs get filled at NPCs. Contrary to popular opinion, War Forks CAN be bought off NPCs - the NPC Weaponsmiths at weapon shops sell them.
*large armor combinables typically get sorted into keepers, those that I can upgrade to fit a specific large, and junk
*Plate LBODs of all metals are used to train my BOD runners, while providing fodder for BOD turn-in/replacement.

I only do tailor BODs (at a VERY very casual pace), and I created a look-up excel spreadsheet file to help me figure out which SBODs to keep for LBODs, and which to turn in as single items. Essentially, on one spreadsheet, I listed the various iterations of SBODs (i.e. 'studded leather gloves', 'normal', 'spined leather', '15') and then the last columns indicates if it's a "keeper" or not. On another spreadsheet, I list the actual SBODs in my book, and the Excel file automatically looks up the respective iteration and then tells me if I should hold on to it (to support a "some-day" LBOD), or turn it in.

I keep SBODs that support LBODs for the following rewards: clothing bless deed, [any level] runic kit. Everything else gets turned in, as you can request another BOD as soon as you turn one in (regardless of the BOD timer). I end up with way more cloth than I want, but the cycle keeps going.

I haven't gotten in to the bribery system too much yet. But I imagine if I need to fill an LBOD (I have so few as it is) I may look into this more.

Hope this helps?

I think you harvest bods at a much higher clip than I do, which may amount to our difference of opinion, but I don't mind getting the exceptional cloth sbods which can be filled and plugged into a four part 20 Normal LBOD.

There is no such thing as a junk BOD!! Fill all the ones you would normally throw out and turn them in to reset the timer and claim another BOD. Each time you turn1 in, you can claim one, I do them in groups of three. Sell the shovels to miners for that little extra gold, or toss them. I've not checked to see if they are worth reward points..

In theory that's a great idea. But with the cost/value of the ingots/leather factored in, many BODs arent worth filling just to hand in for another.

I use all cloth smalls to fill and hand in for another BOD, cloth is cheap! (besides the 20x that go into the 5 part large. CBD!)

Iron and cloth are cheep and readily available, I guess I don't see your point, so we can agree to disagree. I'm talking about weapons and cloth BOD's, all others can be bribed up for valuable fills.

There are many Dull Copper, Shadow and Copper that to me, really aren't worth the resources to fill, nor are they worth the amount of bribes it would take to make them valuable. As you said, we'll have to agree to disagree.

Depends on where and when you bribe, I can move DC up to Val quite easily and for less cost than the monetary reward outside of the hammer. I will grant you the fact that if I'm not successful in getting the ring or chain to the spot I want, then it becomes junk to me. So I retract my no junk statement, some do become junk due to the random pathway of bribes. But as for cost of bribes, patience and mobility is key!!

I fill my normal cloth & iron BODs to turn in to get new ones, solely from buying from NPCs (otherwise the resources aren't worth it). On the rare occasions I get a normal 4-part 20-count tailor LBOD (spined kit), I might need to craft body sashes, full aprons or bonnets.

Otherwise, I've got too many BODs as it is to turn in for new BODs to craft stuff to fill cloth BODs. Leather BODs are the same, but at least there are some that can be used for skill gains to fill for my last two BOD runners (105 and 115 skill, both working to 120).

I'm more likely to fill exceptional iron smalls, as when I do mine, I mine in Ilshenar with gargoyle pickaxes and prospector tools, hoping to spawn paragon ore elementals for their paragon chests (or, ore elementals in general for their ore).

Dull copper, even if I choose to dig solely for DC using normal tools and PT, I can't mine in quantities to fill my existing small BODs that give POF, so filling small normals is a non-starter. They go directly to my junkpile book, and I give them away once the book gets full. Shadow iron normals and EX 20s (other than those that fit the plate large, for runner training and the 120 PS) also end up in the junk book.

There's no copper normal smalls worth keeping, and the 20% POF chance doesn't start for normal smalls until Bronze 20-counts, through Agapite 15-counts at 90%. Smalls above that that aren't for larges aren't worth the effort to bribe (save the bribes for LBOD filling needs).

IF you look at the guides and FAQs in the Data Chest section, while out of date in terms of collection methods and bribes, they discuss the logic in choosing what to keep.

If you are talking about filling / collecting on a large scale I can see why you would throw ome away ect... for me, however, I dont throw any away... if I am in the mood for doing bods I will collect my 3 I can get, any that are a part of a useful LBOD that I have I will keep and use the smaller less useful ones to reset the BOD timers... I use the poxy reward cloth for either filling the small cloth BODS and in terms of smithing I dont throw away and small bods, I dont keep the wep LBODS but i either store the small armour bods to fill large bods or I fill them and turn in to reet the timer. I am creating a vendor in the next few days as I have a load of stuff to sell... once i do it there will be a "anyone" secure chest next o him full of prospector tools and garg picks as well as mining gloves. I will pop a book on the vendor titled "help yourself to stuff from the chest" :)

Sell the shovels to miners for that little extra gold.
Or, run your own miner and give them to him... Taking a few extra reward shovels/pickaxes make a significant difference in how long he can stay out with having to return to the house to unload and pick up more tools. And thanks to my miner headed out to collect colored ore, I have a ton of iron to fill the "junk" smalls.

And your fishermen can fill your boots/shoes/sandals/thigh boots BODs. If not, it's not like normal leather isn't easily collected. I have a crafter who bought a pair of dogs from the stable to gather leather... with careful selection of targets, she doesn't even need any tamer skills. (And giant beetles can take down many non-agressive critters without breaking a sweat too...)
