Building up Loyalty with the Ophidians : Where to find Banes but no side spawn ?

I am trying to build the 5,000 Loyalty with the Ophidians by killing Banes.

Other than at the towns being invaded, where else can the Bane be found ?

I have tried magincia, but the annoying side spawn (Hellhounds and Daemons) slows down a whole lot the killing of the banes and so of the loyalty build up.

For 1 Bane that I manage to kill I have to also kill a few hellhounds and Daemons and this takes time.

Is there a place where Banes can be found on their own or with much less side spawn ?

Dunno -- darned near got killed by a paragon hell hound there earlier today. Hit me for 72 points with firebreath, and that with 70 fire resist...

AFAIK, the only way to gain is by killing the Bane in the cities, while they are being attacked and of course Magencia. Even in the towns you will find the Bnae come with hellhounds and guards.

The bane will generally always have hellhounds near them as they keep them as pets, spirit gate is the only place where they spawn alone though (just them and their dogs)

In order to be given the loyalty points, what is the minimum requirement ?

Do considerable damage/killing them or even barely scratching them just once is enough to then be awarded the loyalty points when they get killed, eventually ?

I could be wrong but I think you get the loyalty points if you did "enough" damage to a creature that is killed. In other words, if you did enough damage to have the right to loot it, you will get loyalty points for the kill.

Again, could be wrong but it seems like I get loyalty whenever I can loot the corpse, and not when I can't.

I believe this is correct, as I have been off screen (and even dead sometimes) when I have gotten points awarded to me when someone in my guild saved my pale, translucent ghost butt.
