Bugs with Ricardo Quest?

On Baja, Day 1 spot in Papua Ruins is broken.. anyone else having issues with previous day's locations?


Sent in bug report.. got same ol' blah blah.

In what way is it 'broken'? If you mean the book isn't showing, Make sure your wearing the lantern and its on, then run around the ruins a bit, it should appear.

As Mapper said & also go in & out of the area with the lantern on. The book will appear. I had it happen on a cpl of characters this round as in the Abyss quest when I would teleport to a spot, the book would not appear knowing it was there so I would walk away then back & it would appear. Have also had the book appear & quickly disappear on this quest too so you do have to be fast on some.

i personaly wish theyd put the chest in so that i could actualy do the quest on my other characters that dont have the other lantern.

I too have had it appear then disappear before I could click it. I simply walked a bit out of the runes... then went back in. It appeared again and stayed. But it's better to click fast.

OH and if anyone else shows up.. the book disappears on you.

One Ricardo, two different chest. One Chest gives negative Karma the other positive Karma. Pick a side. Good or bad?

I had been waiting for the new events to start. So 2 days ago i reactivated my account only to find out that the damn chest on napa that you get the lantern dont exist. 2 days later and its still not fixed. That seems like a pretty damn important part of the quest to have forgot to even put it in the damn game for an entire shard. Now I wish I could just cut my account off and get the money back for the rest of the month.

I have to log in and check Baja Day 1 spot.. thx for the tips, I've run 8 other toons through the 3 spots. I waited at the area *day 1* for more than an hour the first time, and 30 minutes the second. Other people on our shard also commented that is was not spawning. I feel very confident the book was not spawning rather than some user error on my part.
