Bugged system.

So I wake up to find a nice(or so I thought) suprise...I won a house plot in the magincia lotto, BUT for a plot AND facet I didn't purches a ticket for. Is this just an early bug and I should just wait a little bit for it to be ironed out?

I also have a bugged house ticket situation, I should be happy I won.... But I didn't buy any tickets for the SW plots...
Only SE SC and Northern plots... :| Strange how it worked out in the end...

I agree six under, and I personally know some people that it happened to so I know they are not lying about it, I don't care about winning or losing either way as I can buy from another player, but it should be fair and it wasn't due to bugs, so I agree revert is the only fair way to do it.

Yes, it probably is the only way to do it but... it ain't gonna happen. Just like life, UO isn't always fair. It wasn't done out of evil intent just the usually lack of resources the game gets.

It was a lottery. It was bugged. People won and people lost. Move on.

I have to say that i too was happy to see i won two plots this morning when i logged in but it seems i am having difficulty placing them. Once i came here and saw all the threads about the placing bugs i knew this was the start of a huge nightmare. The prob i see with doing a revert is that there are ppl who have already sold their deeds, placed houses, placed vendors and moved items into the houses. If a revert comes of this and a redraw is done how is EA gonna compensate the winners b4 the revert? I think this is gonna be a very sensitive thing they will be looking at Monday b/c i know there will be no fixing this today with it being a weekend and all. I guess it will be time for them to just start weighing in on the pros and cons of how this can be fixed, my bet is that it won't be fixed till the end of the week and all that does is just take away close to 7 more days off the time for the deeds to be used. I hope EA really takes a look into this b4 they make a decision or it might start the apocalypse that has been *whispering through the trees* for the past few years.

I'm not saying these guys are lying, just that there are lots of plots and they all look the same when you buy tickets for them and some people have other people, like family members, with access to their accounts and this has been going for 10 days....etc. What are the odds these two guys are mistaken? Given that you have over a thousand plots spanning the entire game and we've only heard two instances of this occurring. That's less than 0.1% percent even claiming to have issues.

I won a plot which was the one i bid most on @ 1.3 chance.
Did a bug cause me to win? No, RNG Good luck (rare)
I didnt win any others which i bid on, was that caused by a bug? No, RNG Bad luck (very common)
I tried to place a plot and it wouldnt go, was that a bug? No, it was me placing wrong.
Just because you didnt win please dont just demand a revert and blame it on bugs.
