Yup - it be busted
seems to be working for me ... I use it all the time.
okay - I lied - sort of. At work I had no issues with the mark forum ewad link. here at home it is not working.

Firefox - nothing happens
IE - displays page error in status bar

At work I'm fine again ... FF 3.6.7 with Adblock Plus; using IE6 here - Forum is marked as read properly.
When I get home I'll retest with FF and I have IE8 there.

Petra, has anyone looked into this yet? It's a feature I use every time I visit. Really miss it. 
I've reported it and the report has been acknowledged.

okay - I just tested with IE8 in addition to FF at home and the link is inoperative.

Strange ... worked on Firefox 3.6.7 a few days ago if I disabled the NoScript addon, but updated with 3.6.8 and it doesn't work - however, the 'Mark this forum read' link at the bottom of the page works, after a fashion
Tried it by going in to the Oceania forum, chose that link to mark it all read, and it dropped me back on the full list of forums - but going back into Oceania, it had indeed marked all threads read. A partly useful workround, I suppose.
Edit... OK, I know it's early in the morning, and I may not be the brightest - but that link I used now seems not to be there on any forum at all! I didn't imagine it..... honest...

yup - it is flaking in and out still. Sometimes I can get the forum to flag as read, sometimes not. I am about ready to simply stop. frustration mounts.

Well this is the thread I started about a month ago on this issue. I'm glad to see others miss this as much as I do. I'm going to share my workaround with everyone. Who knows, mabe it will help someone fix it, provided of course someone is actually trying to do so.
I made a separate shortcut and dropped it on my desktop, I guess it could just as easily be a favorite/bookmark. Anyway direct it here:
vboards.stratics.com/forumdisplay.php?do=markread&f=35
Add the h t t p : / / in front of it. I couldn't do it for you. The board software changes the link when I do.
This WILL mark all posts in Uhall as read, but it takes you back to entire forum list afterwards.

It is a kluge, but it works. My UHall was getting out of hand, but thanks to your little fix my OCD has calmed a bit.

I've noticed a lot of things improving - and getting fixed faster now that we have more resources (TGN folks). It's nice to have them with us - supporting the community.

Beastmaster, sorry it took a month to fix this one.
I finally found the issue: We had a javascript file that had been renamed so the "Mark as read" feature was not being loaded.
After renaming it back, it works!
My best guess how this happened is during one of the hacker attacks, when we were trying to figure out how to clean them, we tried renaming some files and forgot to rename this one back.
