Boss in Shame

Every time you kill a mob in Shame, you have a random chance to get a Shame Dungeon Crystal, you use those at the altars to summon the bosses

the bosses are one thing i was highly underwhelmed with in the new shame.

i think they could have done more with them.
given them something cool that they drop, other then the DI killing goo

and why is there no level 4 or 5 boss?

dont get me wrong, love the new shame.
but the boss system seems like it was only 1/2 way done.
only half the levels have them and those bosses are a push over, the level 2 boss is 50 times harder then the level 3 boss, which dosnt make much sense.

Dont forget the boss is a search and destroy..
You need to find him on the lvl you spawn him..
He does not spawn at the alter..

And yes he is weak...not even stronger then the mudpie..
It was a quarts elemantel for lvl i got to spawn..
And junk for loot..wasent looking for artie items..but atleese beter then what the other mobs there would drop would have been nice..

remember this is supposed to be a training area too, i like that lower lvl skills can gather points and spawn a boss for themselves

The publish notes say that the level boss gives you a taste of the next level down - which seems about right comparing the Quartz Elemental with the Mud Elemental of level 2.

I have to admit that when I made the tour guide I didn't stop to fight anything. Death would not have been helpful when I was trying to explore and document. The flame elementals on level 3 I very carefully shadow jumped over.

I despise the new bosses as well. Bosses?! I've never seen such covetous deceit.

Um do you think they could put a way to get out of the second level boss when you die other then saying i am stuck.

True, the bosses seem to be underpowered for most veterans - but that´s okay, there are many peerless and champs in this game, strong enough for the best fighters. Nice to see, that people training in shame have some more fun now.

But one should not complain that there is no "real" boss on the deeper levels: Try the unbound energy vortex - he is a beast! Hehe. No need for a boss, he feels like a peerless already

This is just the first dungeon that they revamp, i sooo look forward for the bosses for Dungeon Hytloth and Destard .

I'd like to see despise revamped, so the last lesser slayers that have no uses will take a place in the world, especially the lizardman slayer that actually is totally useless
