Hey all,

For anyone sitting around bored at home, here's another project that could use all your help. Besides the 228 rares in the wiki that I've still not found to collect hue and graphic info ( Rares with unknown hue - Stratics Community Wiki ), there also are still 2,576 rares in the wiki without full properties: UO:Items with unknown properties - Stratics Community Wiki

In a large number of cases, the only property is the weight. With 2,576 items still missing properties, everyone here probably owns 50 or 100 items from that list. If you can edit in the missing properties, or PM me, or post it here, we can easily get that list cut down.

Lately, I'm working on adding all the pages for all of the item property. That includes back-links for all the items with those properties, which is where it gets really useful to have all the properties for each rare item. I'm the original owner of the Relvinian's Experimental Hair Tonic turned "A Lesser Explosion Potion". It lost the tag while in my possession. I don't know who owns it now. But I never double clicked it just in case it would explode. But there was no walk-over effect or sound.

If you want a picture of the item with tag showing I may have it on my old hard drive.

You have A Bow(Practice Weapon) in your list. The one I have is [] bracketed. Not sure if there were two types?
If not, this one you can turn with a deco tool while locked down. It weighs 2 stones. Not dyable with furniture tub nor regular dye tub. Didn't try plant dyes not sure if I could default or bleach it back.
Full set of practice weps is on display in my castle on Great Lakes. The bow turned the rest do not. I found in all my "stuff" a Practice Sword Hue # 2219 was left over from a leaving player who had us sell
as much of their stuff as we could.

MOA has "A note for Zoel" in 1709 and 1716 can NOT be turned.

A shirt Embroidered with "We Create Food" can NOT be turned, can NOT be dyed with a regular cloth dye tub.

A Big Muffin, Hue 50, says it can not be turned.

Anvil [Facing South] deed hue 2406 in deed form it will not turn and can not be dyed with a furniture or plain dye tub.

Folded Sheet Hue 0 Can not be turned, ours on display at MOA is hue 1350 (it use to be a zero) I don't know who dyed it but apparently it can be.

Bird Hue 33, can not be turned, as far as I can determine it just sits there. Locked down and I can't access it so not sure I could dye it.

Kitchen Golem, can be turned, furniture dye tub doesn't work, If you dbl click you get a targeting cursor, Also has to be in your backpack to use it, when you target a random item in your pack it says "That is not something that can be ground". no sound. Can walk all over him, nothing happens.

Chocolate cake hue 1022, can not be turned

I have lots of random crap between MOA and myself others I know I would be happy to as I can whittle away at some of the non EM stuff. Also, is there any reference material in the area of say "What's in a name?" I get a LOT of questions about what is the difference between like "of exceptional" "A exceptional", "An Exceptional", () round brackets, [] Square brackets, color of text in the title, stone weight. All that sort of thing. Some of it I still remember all these years later.

Nice! I'll start to edit that in, though I've been working 7 days/12 hours lately, so my free time went off a cliff.

Re the bracket on the practice weapon, I just double checked my old data (~311k items ) from when I first was hunting down hues. I have a bunch of records of "A Bow (practice Weapon)", with no variations. Sounds like the [] version you have may need some more digging; it's definitely not common at all.

If you want to help add in this kind of data, I'd welcome it. I've tried to make it as easy as possible to edit. First, you'll need a wiki account. Set it to autologin, and you should be good. (If you ever edited years back, before the site/wiki upgrade last fall, you may need to message Nexus to get your password reset.)

Once logged in, go to the page you want to edit, and hover your mouse over "Actions" in the top right:

Once there, click on "Edit"

Now you'll see:

You can edit the raw page, but for most people, you'll want to click on "Open Item Editor" in the top left. That'll kick in the editor I built. You can do almost everything there. Just click Save once you're done, and it'll fill in all the right stuff for the template.

It may just be aging eyes on the practice weapon bracket. They just don't look exactly like my rounded keyboard ones either, but it maybe font?
I might explore editing, quite capable in data entry did it for years ... point click fill in the field some of the rest of it a little slower. We'll see after Rare's Fest.
